Demon Hunters: Back from the Dead – Page 39
While Silent Jim’s appearance is based on Don Early’s portrayal of the character, Ben has taken some artistic license with the comic version. For instance, comic-Jim’s ass is balder than Bruce Willis, whereas Don had to shave a bare patch into his sasquatchian butt fur to allow for tattoo application.
This month’s episode of DG Game Night featured the unveiling of the new Demon Hunters: A Comedy of Terrors gameplay. Be sure to give it a watch, if watching a couple hours of other people play an RPG is the sorta thing that you’re into. Takes all kinds.
Kinda expected RM’s tattoo to be a trampstamp. Not sure why :p
We’ve seen RM’s tattoo location before now, when she went to find Albrecht. And Angel is the one with the traditional tramp stamp Brotherhood tat. We just haven’t seen her in this yet.
Regardless, the tattoo sequence is one of my favorite little things that makes DH what it is.
Truth on that last part!
Anyone else notice that Silent Jim is putting a lot of sass into the tattoo montage?
Damn it now I’m picturing Don doing the finger bite while posing with his but exposed….
Why has no one invented brain bleach?
I’ll see if I can take that photo at the next DG Reunicon.
You’re a true hero, Ben.
I’m the hero no one deserves nor needs right now or ever.
I’ll provide the required beverages to ensure this happens! 🙂
I do hereby christen this plane the “Celestial Hiney-sign”. *cr-splash* XD
Is Albrecht’s tat silver? That’s gotta itch.
That’s one of the downsides of Lycanthropy; your body heals out tattoo ink almost instantaneously. Before his change, Albrecht’s Brotherhood tattoo was on his bicep, but that one’s long gone. He had to get creative. His new tattoo is on the thin skin of his throat, and uses a suspension of tattoo ink and silver iodide. The silver keeps the virus from rejecting the ink, but it hurt like a bitch going in. He can still feel it, but the pain is down to a dull ache.
I love the detail that goes into this!
He’s got this all written out, just waiting for people to ask about it.
You are not wrong.
WALLS OF TEXT FOR THE WIN!
+1 Jenna
It’s that level of detail in backstory, the little bit of extra effort, that makes me enjoy RPGs so damned much.
Silent Jim has been my favorite character so far, now he’s my favorite for all time!
Because of course Silent Jim has the tattoo on his ass…
Just under the torch he’s got one that says “No Ragrets”
